NAIOP Announces Call for Speakers, October 6, 2008
Washington, D.C. – The National Association
of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) has announced an open,
on-going call for proposals from potential speakers to lead
educational sessions for NAIOP’s 2009 national conferences
and programs. NAIOP is seeking proposals from dynamic speakers who
have professional experience in the commercial real estate
industry. Invited speakers will be scheduled to speak on their
topic of expertise at one of NAIOP’s many conferences or
educational courses in 2009. Some of the major NAIOP events for
which proposals may be considered are:
• DevelopGREEN: Sustainable Solutions for Commercial Real Estate (March 11 -12, 2009; Seattle, Wash.)
• I.con: The Industrial Conference (June 23-24, 2009; Long Beach, Calif.)
• NAIOP 2009 Webinar Series: The best in online commercial real estate education, with 24 programs planned to reach more than 1,000+ participants in 2009.
• development ’09: the annual meeting for commercial real estate (October 13-16, 2009; Chicago, Ill.)
Planning committee meets to determine sessions mid-November 2008.
Potential speakers should have knowledge and experience in one or more of NAIOP’s pre-selected topics, some of which include build-to-suit development, capital markets, green building and industrial development, among others. Speakers are asked to ensure that their topic is educational in nature, geared towards a national (versus regional) audience and does not endorse a particular company, product or service.
